DeLon Slaughter is a rising force in Michigan personal injury law—and a key part of the Latham Law Group team. Focused, grounded, and client-first in everything he does, DeLon brings a rare combination of legal insight and real-world experience to every case.

After earning his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, DeLon joined the firm to help injury victims navigate a system that often feels built against them. With a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Law, Justice, and Social Change from the University of Michigan, he’s always had a passion for advocacy and access.

Before law, DeLon worked as a licensed real estate professional—developing negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Today, those skills serve his clients well as he guides them through high-stress legal situations with clarity and confidence.

Outside the office, DeLon gives back through Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., where he serves as Community Service Chair and supports outreach programs across the state.
