Alan Latham built Latham Law Group to do what too many firms won’t—stand up to institutions, challenge power, and fight for people who’ve been overlooked or underestimated.

Born in Detroit and battle-tested in the courtroom, Alan represents clients in personal injury and civil rights cases with sharp strategy, fearless advocacy, and an unwavering sense of purpose. From his early days at Chrysler Financial during the recession to his leadership role with the Michigan Association for Justice, Alan has always worked to level the playing field.

He believes the courtroom is where justice gets real. Whether going after insurance companies, corporations, or abusive institutions, Alan brings Detroit grit and legal firepower to every case.

When he’s not in court, he’s building alliances—mentoring young attorneys, contributing to Justice PAC, and working to ensure Michigan’s legal system protects the people, not just the powerful.
